Hi! My name is Maddie and I am the newest Open Books store intern. I’ve left my native Seattle (and my wonderful mom, pictured above at the Globe) behind to join the team at Open Books and couldn’t be happier to be here. The best book I’ve read recently is Behind the Scenes at the Museum, in which author Kate Atkinson sums up my feelings about literacy:
“In the end, it is my belief, words are the only thing that can construct a world that makes sense.”
Come by the store, I’d love to meet you!
