Black Books! The funniest show about a bookstore ever made. Check it out if you haven’t already!

Kevin and I have a running argument as to which of us is Manny, the good-natured and extremely competent bookseller, and which is Bernard, the alcoholic and misanthropic bookstore owner. Is it clear to all that I am Bernard.

Aziraphale collected books. If he were totally honest with himself he would have to have admitted that his bookshop was simply somewhere to store them. He was not unusual in this. In order to maintain his cover as a typical second-hand book seller, he used every means short of actual physical violence to prevent customers from making a purchase. Unpleasant damp smells, glowering looks, erratic opening hours - he was incredibly good at it.

Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman (Good Omens)

Aziraphale is one of my favorite characters in all of literature! I’ve always wanted to be the kind of bookstore owner that he is (well, him and Bernard Black…)

As it turns out, I’m not as good as the glowering looks as I hoped I’d be. My only refuge is in friendliness!
